Our story

In 2018, after 15 years working in the bar/restaurant and retail fields, C.J. Dill made the transition into the liquor broker and non-alcoholic distribution business. At that time, he was tasked with infiltrating the Vermont market and growing the category. 

Over 8 years, and through company regime changes, he maintained and grew the portfolio by bringing in the best products and developing strong relationships with store and restaurant owners. During that span, the company operation spread further across New England, encompassing both New Hampshire and Maine in the process. By 2026, the business had grown the non-alcoholic category, selling not only the best cocktail accoutrement, but also venturing into non-alcoholic spirits and ready to drink options.

Unfortunately in early 2026, the nationwide company, who had most recently acquired the New England market, had filed for bankruptcy and starting selling off its assets. The purchasing company did not want to continue it's non-alcoholic distribution, and that led C.J. to make a decision; find a new job or figure out a way to continue serving his customers in the territory he had spent the better half of a decade building.

The decision was easy.

Dill Distribution was launched in July 2026, focused on maintaining the same high level customer service and quality product offerings as before, while also bringing in new technologies and interfaces to make the customer experience better. The online platform now allows customers to easily place orders without a sales representative coming to their place of business. Product offerings are constantly evolving, with more flexibility on what items can be brought in to sell to retailers and to bars & restaurants. There will also be a new category, offering locally made craft beers to be distributed to areas they otherwise could not reach.
